  • The Ningbo Open follows other major Chinese tournaments in Wuhan and Beijing.
  • The total prize purse for the 2025 Ningbo Open is more than $1 million.

The women’s tennis tour hit a crescendo last weekend with the Wuhan Open wrapping the WTA 1000 schedule for the 2025 season. Coco Gauff lifted the singles trophy and will bring a lot of momentum into the WTA Finals.

That doesn’t mean the Asian swing is over for women’s tennis, though. While the ATP has moved west to the Almaty Open and some other smaller European tournaments, the WTA is remaining in China and Japan for several more smaller tournaments.

The largest of those is this week’s Ningbo Open, which was upgraded to a WTA 500 event in 2024. Headlining players include No. 1 seed Mirra Andreeva and 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina. BetMGM has tennis lines for all those players’ upcoming matches and more.

The total prize purse for Ningbo is $1,064,510.
