  • The Korea Open marks the professional tennis tour’s autumnal swing to Asia.
  • The total prize purse is more than $1 million.

September is a busy time in online sports betting, so many Americans may not be aware of what’s going on with the professional tennis tour. After all, the U.S. Open has now concluded, and there are no more Grand Slams left for this calendar year.

But tennis fans know the deal. Late September is when the tour flips from North America to Asia, with many of the remaining tour events crisscrossing China, Japan, and South Korea.

As a result, many tennis betting opportunities will start in the middle of the night, at least for those looking at tennis odds in the states.

This week, while there are small men’s tournaments in China hosted in Hangzhou and Chengdu, the largest tour event is a WTA draw in Seoul, South Korea.

The Korea Open offers a fun draw with several prominent tour players, including No. 1 seed Iga Swiatek, 2021 U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu, and Korean wild-card entrant Dayeon Back.

The total prize purse for the 28 singles players at the 2025 Korea Open is $1,064,510.
