Coming off their first loss since Aug. 2, the Las Vegas Aces will try to punch their ticket to the semifinals when they host the Seattle Storm at 9:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at Michelob ULTRA Arena on ESPN2.
The Storm staved off elimination with a comeback 86-83 victory over the Aces at home on Tuesday. The last time the Storm won a playoff series was 2022, a streak they can end with a win during Thursday’s Game 3.

Aces vs. Storm Prediction for Game 3 on Sept. 18
For the third straight game in this series, my Storm vs. Aces prediction involves taking the points with Seattle via the latest WNBA betting lines.
I took the Storm +6.5 in each of the first two games of this series. The Aces rolled to their 17th win in a row with a 25-point win (102-77) in Game 1, but the Storm responded with an impressive comeback victory in Game 2.
Seattle might have found something in the final minutes of that game with their talented rookie. The Storm were down 10 when Dominque Malonga checked into the fourth quarter. She played a huge role down the stretch, becoming the youngest player in league history to record a go-ahead basket in the final minute of a playoff game.
Malonga, 19, finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes. She posted a +11 and two blocks, proving to be a two-way force while going up against the best player in the league.
That’s also part of this handicap, as A’ja Wilson took a hard fall in Game 2. It’s unclear how hurt she is entering Game 3, but the Aces need her to be healthy if they hope to win a third championship in four years.
I’m skeptical that the Storm will earn an upset in Las Vegas, but they can keep this game closer than this spread would suggest.
