Although scoring has increased in the WNBA, the record for most points scored by a team in the playoffs has remained intact for 15 years.

The Phoenix Mercury hold the record for most points scored by a team in the WNBA playoffs. They scored 120 in their 120-116 win over the Indiana Fever in Game 1 of the 2009 WNBA Finals.

Phoenix is also tied for first in most points scored by a team in a non-overtime playoff game. The Mercury recorded 117 points against the Las Vegas Aces in the 2021 semifinals. The Aces finished with 117 in their win over the Mercury in Round 1 of the 2022 playoffs.
