- Get WNBA expert picks and analysis for Fever vs. Dream
- Atlanta is a 7.5-point favorite in Thursday’s Game 3.
After splitting the first two games of the series, the Atlanta Dream and Indiana Fever will meet for Game 3 at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at Gateway Center Arena on ESPN2. The winner will advance to the semifinals.
The home team has won each game thus far, with Atlanta covering as an eight-point favorite in an 80-68 win in Game 1 and Indiana winning outright (77-60) as a four-point underdog in Tuesday’s Game 2. That should give the Dream the advantage in Thursday’s Game 3.
Here’s a look at the latest WNBA odds and my favorite Fever vs. Dream prediction:
Fever vs. Dream Odds for Game 3: Spread, Total, Moneyline
- Fever spread: +7.5
- Dream spread: -7.5

Fever vs. Dream Prediction for Game 3 on Sept. 18
Based on the latest WNBA betting lines, my best Fever vs. Dream prediction for Game 3 is for Atlanta to win the first half and the full game. This prop is available under game props, allowing you to bet on which team will win the first half and which team will be in front at the end of the game.
I’ll be more interested in player props and other markets when they become available, but this isn’t a bad value to back the better team at home.
In Sunday’s Game 1, the Dream jumped out to a 40-33 lead in the first half of their eventual 12-point victory. They outscored the Fever over the final three quarters to remove any doubt about the outcome.
Given how these two teams performed this season, it doesn’t really surprise me.
The Fever played much better at home than on the road this year. They had a -1.8 net rating in away games compared to a +10.8 clip at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indiana is -1.3 in the first half of road matchups.
As the No. 3 seed, Atlanta had success at home and on the road. However, the Dream were the best first-half team in the league. They posted a net rating of +9.3 in the first two quarters.
The Dream understand the importance of getting off to a strong start in a pivotal Game 3.
Prediction: Dream first half/full game winner (-140) – Pick made Wednesday
