“Deus da Guerra” initially trained in his gym in Brazil alongside his Team Figueiredo teammates Francisco Figueiredo (also his brother), Priscila Cachoeira and Zarah Fairn Dos Santos, who is also competing in the UFC.

But after a successful training camp in the lead-up to his UFC 270 title bout, Deiveson Figueiredo has since moved to Fight Ready Team, which is headlined by former two-division world champion Henry Cejudo alongside other coaches Eddie Cha, Santino Defranco and Angel Cejudo.
