Melquizael Costa vs. Morgan Charriere: Prediction
My prediction is a TKO/KO finish for Costa against Charriere because he has more variety in his striking arsenal. Additionally, Costa has an unorthodox style and his strikes come from different angles, which often confuses his opponents.
Charriere may have the advantage in terms of speed, but he doesn’t throw a lot of volume because he prefers to be the technical fighter. This can be his downfall against Costa because he might deal with a lot of strikes going his way and might be overwhelmed by them.
Both are great counterpunchers, but I think Costa would be more aggressive in this fight knowing that Charriere doesn’t throw a lot of strikes. Although the Brazilian needs to be careful in exchanges to not get caught by a solid punch or kick.

Charriere was a former Cage Warriors titleholder, and he made his octagon debut in September 2023. In his five bouts in the UFC, he defeated Manolo Zecchini, Gabriel Miranda, and Nate Landwehr, while his losses were courtesy of Chepe Mariscal and Nathaniel Wood.
