Former two-division champion and currently No. 10-ranked bantamweight contender Henry Cejudo looks to defend his place in the rankings as he faces rising star Payton Talbott in the main card of UFC 323 on Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Because of his three-fight losing streak, Cejudo is going to be the betting underdog with +240 UFC odds, while Talbott, who’s coming off a bounce-back victory in his previous bout, will be the -300 betting favorite.

UFC 323: Henry Cejudo vs. Payton Talbott: Prediction
A TKO/KO win for Talbott is my prediction against Cejudo, as he’ll have massive height, reach, and leg reach advantages against the former two-division UFC titleholder. This gives him a better chance to land a significant strike.
Additionally, Cejudo is way past his prime now, and he won’t be able to keep up with the much younger, athletic, and explosive contender at this point in his career. He also needs to cover a lot of space for him to shoot for a takedown and neutralize the striking of Talbott.
Talbott has improved his takedown defense, and I think that he’ll fully utilize his physical advantages to inflict damage on Cejudo. Once Talbott catches Cejudo with a solid strike, it’s going to be wrap and secure his spot in the division’s rankings.

Cejudo is a former two-division UFC champion who reigned in the flyweight and bantamweight divisions. After a brief retirement, he came back in 2023, but lost all three of his fights to Aljamain Sterling, Merab Dvalishvili, and Song Yadong.
