I predict that Procházka will secure a TKO/KO finish against Rountree Jr. due to his unorthodox and unpredictable style. Also, he has the advantages in physicality, specifically in height, reach, and leg reach.

Procházka also starts every match quickly, which can cause problems for Rountree Jr., who often takes a read of his opponents in the first two rounds before operating methodically and breaking down his opposition.

Rountree Jr., though, has incredible power in his strikes, especially the hammer fists and elite clinch game that can pose threats to Procházka once he closes the distance and lands cleanly during their exchanges.

Procházka was the former RIZIN FF champion when he joined the UFC in 2020. He instantly became a top contender in the division with two finishes of former title challengers Volkan Oezdemir and Dominick Reyes in his first two outings in the promotion.

Then, in his third fight, he challenged Glover Teixeira for the UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 275 in June 2022 and submitted the Brazilian in the fifth round to capture the championship belt. However, his reign was cut short due to a shoulder injury, which forced him to vacate the title.

In his last four fights, Procházka went 2-2 with wins over Aleksandar Rakic (in April 2024) and Jamahal Hill (last January). His defeats were courtesy of Alex Pereira in their championship matches in November 2023 and June 2024, respectively.

Rountree Jr. was a finalist of the Ultimate Fighter 23 in July 2016, and despite his loss to Andrew Sanchez in the finale, he was still able to crack a roster spot in the UFC. He got submitted in his octagon debut by Tyson Pedro, but has since found his groove in the division.

In his next 15 fights, Rountree Jr. defeated 10 of his opponents, absorbed four losses, and had one no-contest result. During this stretch, he also earned a shot at the UFC light heavyweight title against Pereira at UFC 307 last October 2024, but was TKO’d in the fourth round.
