Chimaev proved that he’s the considerable betting favorite in the UFC odds boards with a grappling clinic throughout the championship battle, as Du Plessis had no answer to his relentless offense.
This dominant performance earned “Borz” an additional $50,000 bonus for the Performance of the Night award. Aside from Chimaev, Lerone Murphy, Carlos Prates, and Tim Elliott also received the POTN honors.
