New Southampton manager Ivan Juric has improved Southampton while facing a fairly difficult schedule.Â
Under Russell Martin, the Saints owned a -1.99 post-shot xGDiff per 90 minutes, per fbref.com. Under Juric, it rises to a -1.31 post-shot xGDiff.Â
That may not sound like a lot, but it’s worth noting this marks only the third time under Juric Southampton is +300 or shorter on the three-way moneyline.Â
One of the previous two matches resulted in a 5-0 beatdown against Brentford. However, that was to be expected against a Bees side fifth in post-shot xG.Â
