- Everton is a 0.5-goal home favorite against Brentford.
- Brentford has lost nine straight EPL matches as underdogs off a win.
- My Everton vs. Brentford prediction rests on Brentford’s injury announcements.
Seeking a seventh result in their last eight matches, Everton welcome Brentford to Goodison Park.Â
The Toffees played to a 0-0 draw as road underdogs against West Ham before the break. Since Sept. 21, a 1-0 defeat at Southampton remains the only time Everton failed to earn points.Â
Brentford captured a 3-2 home win over Bournemouth before the break to extend their home unbeaten run to six. This season, they’ve yet to earn points away from home.Â

Premier League Betting: Everton vs. Brentford Prediction
If Brentford are without both Bryan Mbeumo and Yoanne Wissa on Saturday, my Everton vs. Brentford prediction is the Everton Moneyline (+138).Â
My suspicion is that the line will move if both fail to play. However, if the consensus line reaches +110, I’d like it even more.Â
Home favorites priced between -245 and +112 on the three-way moneyline are 96-38 since 2012, assuming they have nine, 14 or 15 days between games.Â
Even when those teams fall between -112 and +112, they’re 28-9 since the 2012 Premier League season.Â
Everton also bossed Brentford in both head-to-head meetings last season.Â
Expected goals across both meetings finished 2.76-1.91 in favor of Sean Dyche’s squad with a +2 big chances edge for Everton.Â
But the major advantage Everton would have in this match is if Brentford’s striker tandem can’t play.Â
Wissa (4.5 non-penalty xG) and Mbeumo (2.3 non-penalty xG) account for 41% of Brentford’s non-penalty xG total this season.Â
There’s also a chance Everton could feature Jarrad Branthwaite on Saturday following a minor injury.Â
With Branthwaite, Everton are simply a different team in terms of their results.Â
Dating back to last season, Everton are 13-10-14 (W-D-L) irrespective of market status with Branthwaite starting in central defense.Â
It also appears Dwight McNeil could return to action on Saturday. That would boost the Everton attack as McNeil ranks second on the Toffees in non-penalty xG + expected assists.Â
As a result, if the injury news falls in Everton’s favor, I’ll consider a bet on them to earn all three points at Goodison Park.
