The WM Phoenix Open returned to TPC Scottsdale, Feb. 6-9.

Even though it was not a PGA Tour signature event like two years ago, many top players were in the field.

The tournament is known for rowdy crowds, especially on the par-3 16th hole. It is annually held the week of the Super Bowl.

Thomas Detry was the winner, winning for the first time on the PGA Tour. He finished at 24-under, giving him a seven-shot win. Detry birdied the final four holes in the final round.

The event had a $9.2 million purse.
