Most PGA Tour events have a cut to the top 65 players and ties after the first two rounds.
At the Masters, the top 50 players and ties play the weekend, while at the PGA Championship, the top 70 players and ties play the weekend.
Specific to 2025 and Oakmont, the cut was +7.
Additionally, all players who make the cut at the U.S. Open get paid.
