  • The Tour Championship is August 21-24 from East Lake.
  • Scottie Scheffler (+170) has the best odds to win this week.
  • Ben Griffin enters playing some really good golf of late.

It’s the final week of the PGA Tour season, with the FedEx Cup playoffs concluding with the Tour Championship from East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

Unlike in years past, there will be no starting strokes, so all players will start at even par.

East Lake has hosted the Tour Championship since its inception in 2004, although the course did undergo a restoration in 2023. It is now a 7,490-yard par-71 with Zoysia grass in the fairways and TifEagle Bermuda greens.

All aspects of a player’s game will be tested, and it takes a great all-around player to succeed here.

Entering the week, Scottie Scheffler has the best odds to win at +170.

Tour Championship Prediction

Scottie Scheffler is predicted to win the Tour Championship with a 37.04% implied probability, according to betting markets. Rory McIlroy is next at 10.53%.

Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.

Tour Championship Prop Bets

Scottie Scheffler Outright Winner (+170)

Fresh off a win at the BMW Championship and now going against only 29 other players at a course he’s had success at before (he won the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup last year), it’s hard to go against the No. 1 player in the world this week.

Not only that, Scheffler is in the midst of a dominating stretch, logging 13 straight events finishing T-8 or better.

Scheffler has already won five times on the PGA Tour this season, so it makes sense for him to win the final event and be declared the FedEx Cup champion.

Ben Griffin Outright Winner (+3300)

Griffin has had a breakout year, winning twice and logging eight other top-10 finishes. He also enters in great form, with three straight finishes of T-12 or better.

East Lake also fits his game well, and he putts his best on Bermuda greens.

He also may have some extra motivation this week, looking to lock in his spot on the United States Ryder Cup team. While he finished ninth in points and seems more than likely to get a captain’s pick, a great week this week would all but lock that up.
