The 2023 Ryder Cup, a team competition between the United States and Europe, will be Sept. 29-Oct. 1 from Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Italy.
Zach Johnson (United States) and Luke Donald (Europe) will lead their respective teams.
When it comes to Ryder Cup winners, Europe has won four of the last six editions, and the United States hasn’t won on foreign soil since 1993.

Ryder Cup Format
Over the three days, the two 12-player teams will compete in a few different formats.
Each of the first two days includes one four-match session of fourball and one four-match session of foursomes. The final day is reserved for 12 singles matches. Fourball is better known as best ball, while foursomes is better known as alternate shot.
