The shortest offseason in sports is over as the PGA Tour is back this week with the Procore Championship from the Silverado Resort in Napa, California.

This is the first event of the fall, and will be a United States Ryder Cup team prep week as 10 of the 12 players are in the field. The only two who aren’t are Xander Schauffele and Bryson DeChambeau.

The Silverado Resort doesn’t have much trouble off the tee and is more of a second-shot course, so players who hit their irons best typically play the best.

In terms of winning scores, it has been 19-under or better in four of the last five years, so plenty of birdies will be made.

While the Ryder Cup players have the shortest odds to win, Bethpage Black and potential pairings will likely be top of mind, so it could be worth looking at others for this week.

Scottie Scheffler has the best odds to win this week at +225.

Procore Championship Prediction

Scottie Scheffler is predicted to win the Procore Championship with a 30.77% implied probability, according to betting markets. Russell Henley is next at 6.67%.

Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.

Procore Championship Prop Bets

Maverick McNealy Top-10 Finish (+225)

McNealy finished 10th in the final United States Ryder Cup rankings and did not get a captain’s pick. This was largely due to his inconsistent play in the second half of the year. Playing in front of captain Keegan Bradley (he’s on-site but not playing) could give him some extra motivation.

Additionally, McNealy is from Southern California, so he’s very familiar with the conditions, and while he’s missed the cut here in three of his last four starts, he did finish solo second in 2022.

Max Homa Top-20 Finish (+175)

It was a very disappointing 2025 season for Homa, so he’ll look to hit the reset button beginning this week.

Fortunately for him, this is a place where he’s won twice (2022 and 2023), so he’ll have some good vibes. Even with his issues this past season, he’s played well at courses he’s played well at before, and the Silverado Resort fits that bill.

Sahith Theegala Top-20 Finish (+225)

Theegala is in a similar position to Homa, although his issues this season were more injury-related than anything else.

But the 27-year-old has said he’s back to full strength, which is a good thing for him because when he’s on his game, he can be a top-10 player on the PGA Tour.

Theegala has also had success here, gaining the most strokes over the last five years, which includes winning in 2023 and two other top-10 finishes.
