Hero World Challenge 2025: Winner’s Payout & Prize Money Earnings

Although an unofficial PGA Tour event, the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas always has one of the best fields of the entire year.

The tournament, hosted by Tiger Woods, was Dec. 4-7 at Albany Golf Club.

There were just 20 players in the field, including Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Robert MacIntyre, Cameron Young and Jordan Spieth.

In an exciting final round, Hideki Matusyama defeated Alex Noren in a playoff to claim the title.

Noren birdied the final hole to force the playoff, and then Matsuyama birdied the first playoff hole to win.

The purse was $5 million.
