In 2024, Scheffler gained 1.269 shots on average in Strokes Gained: Approach. The next closest player was Tony Finau at 0.808.

Sepp Straka

Straka has won twice on the PGA Tour so far this season, and his iron play is a major reason why.

Going into the U.S. Open, Straka ranks No. 2 on Tour in Strokes Gained: Approach.

Shane Lowry

Even though Lowry has yet to win on the PGA Tour this year, he’s been incredibly consistent, logging nine top-25 finishes in 13 starts, including four top 10s.

Collin Morikawa

Morikawa has always been known as one of the best iron players in the game, and this year is no different.
