We’re a couple of months away from the start of the 2025-26 NHL season, so now’s a good time to take stock of where every team stands in the all-time standings.
Yes, the NHL keeps track of the all-time point percentages for the league’s 32 franchises.
Wouldn’t it be cool if each stadium had a giant running clock somewhere in the upper bowl that showed you how the team’s faring in the all time historical leaderboard? Or if after each game you could see how that win, or loss, affected your standing in the league’s history?
“Sorry, son, while we did win this game, there’s no time to celebrate because, sadly, we still rank 16th all time in wins.”
Here’s where all 32 teams currently stand in the all-time point percentage rankings through the 2024-25 season.

Which NHL Franchise Has the Best Point Percentage?
The Vegas Golden Knights have the league’s best all-time point percentage through the 619 games they’ve played.

Their all-time franchise leader in points is Jonathan Marchessault who was selected by Vegas in their 2017 Expansion Draft. Marchessault played seven seasons for the Knights and earned the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2023. He signed with the Nashville Predators in the summer of 2024.
