Paycor Stadium – previously named Paul Brown Stadium – opened in August 2000, two and a half years after construction began in April 1998.
The 65,515-seat home of the Cincinnati Bengals is nicknamed “The Jungle” and is located on 22 acres of land in downtown Cincinnati. It’s the 27th-biggest NFL stadium in terms of capacity.
It cost $455 million to build ($716 million if adjusted for inflation) and has hosted several college football games, major concerts, and the Cincinnati Music Festival. It’s also used for Bengals games, their practice facility, and as franchise offices.
Several features and amenities have been added to the facility since it was opened, including 114 private suites, 7,600 club seats, and new on-site retail shops. The playing surface has been redone a few times, with the current surface being installed in 2018.
