Washington scored 72 points against the New York Giants on Nov. 27, 1966. That benchmark leads the ‘23 Dolphins by two points.Â
Miami scored 70 points against the Denver Broncos early in the 2023-24 season.Â
It marked the first of two occurrences where a team cleared 60 that year. Later in the season, the Las Vegas Raiders scored 63 points on Thursday Night Football against the Chargers.Â
Dating back to the 2010 NFL season, three teams notched at least 60 points. Along with the Dolphins and Raiders, the 2011 Saints scored 62 against the Indianapolis Colts.Â
