Chris Godwin definitely won’t feature in Week 2. A decent chance exists that Tristan Wirfs won’t play either.Â
Wirfs’ potential absence concerns me a lot. Houston possesses one of the league’s best edge rush duos – Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter – and could cause serious problems.Â
Plus, Texans games have proved an under machine with Ryans. Since he joined the team, Houston has seen 22 of 34 finish under the total.Â
But the record improves exponentially when the total closes at a relatively high number. In 24 games where the total closes at 42 or higher, the under is 20-4, including 12-0 at home.Â
Irrespective of the closing number, only four Houston games cleared this number last season.Â
