In the wild-card era (since 1978), only four NFL teams have won three road playoff games to reach the Super Bowl:

  • 1985 Patriots
  • 2005 Steelers
  • 2007 Giants
  • 2010 Packers

The Steelers, Giants, and Packers each won the Super Bowl that season, finishing their respective championship seasons with four straight wins away from their home stadium.
