  • The Ravens are a 4.5-point home favorite against the Lions.
  • The Ravens have won 13 of their last 14 games against NFC opponents.
  • My Ravens vs Lions prediction is for the Ravens (-6) to cover the spread.

Two teams off blowout victories meet on Monday Night Football with Baltimore hosting Detroit.

The Ravens cruised to a 41-17 win over the Browns in Week 2, easily covering as 11.5-point home favorites. With the win, Baltimore remained second on the Super Bowl odds list.

Detroit obliterated the Bears 52-21 in Ben Johnson’s return to Motor City. The win moved the Lions to 1-1 SU & ATS on the year as Detroit covered as 6.5-point home favorites.

Ravens vs. Lions Prediction

Monday, September 15

Based on Lamar Jackson’s success against the NFC and his previous record against Dan Campbell, my Ravens vs Lions prediction is the Ravens Spread (-6, -110).

This marks the second meeting between Campbell and Jackson, who generally excels against the NFC.

Jackson owns a 24-2 SU record against the NFC in his career, including 14-0 when oddsmakers price him at -6 or higher.

From an ATS standpoint, he’s slightly worse. In those 26 games, Jackson finished 13-12-1 ATS. As a market favorite: 9-12-1 ATS, including 4-9-1 at -6 or higher.

However, Jackson excelled against this Lions defense two years ago. In 2023, Baltimore handed Detroit a 38-6 loss as three-point home favorites.

That could create a sell-high spot on the Lions, who excelled offensively in Week 2.

After recording only 246 yards in Green Bay, the Lions offense doubled up that total for 511 against the Bears.

The Bears defense looks anemic, and Baltimore’s defense – yes, the one that allowed 41 to Buffalo – probably plays closer to Green Bay’s unit.

All of that leads to interest in the Ravens to cover the spread on Monday night.
