A number of big names are set to hit NFL free agency this offseason.

Trey Hendrickson and George Pickens headline the 2026 free agency class. Pickens leads a group of veteran receivers that also includes Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel.

Travis Kelce and Aaron Rodgers will also be free agents. However, both are uncertain to return at ages 37 and 42, respectively.

Here are the best available free agents for the 2026 offseason.

Trey Hendrickson

Hendrickson could still return to Cincinnati, which has cap space next offseason. Per overthecap.com, Cincinnati has $70.6 million in room and $53.7 million in effective cap space.

Hendrickson likely commands a big annual value. He makes $29 million this season and likely commands somewhere between Danielle Hunter ($35.6 million) and Myles Garrett ($40 million).

Keep an eye on the Los Angeles Chargers as a match for Hendrickson. LA lacks an elite edge rusher and enters next offseason with over $100 million in space.

George Pickens

Dallas obviously would like to retain Pickens. The problem is they’ll have to get creative in order to make it happen.

The Cowboys have 45 players signed for next season and are $47.9 million OVER the cap.

The franchise tag offers an option to the Cowboys, as it would probably come cheaper than an extension.

Daniel Jones

Jones’ Achilles injury suddenly creates intrigue for his 2026 free agency standing.

Indy signed Jones to a one-year deal last year. He appeared headed for an obvious extension after the Colts traded a pair of first-round picks for Sauce Gardner.

But now Jones’ status for the start of next year is unknown. Indianapolis lacks options in free agency at QB, so Jones could prove to be the de facto signing.

Breece Hall

New York has the cap room to retain Hall if they want. The Jets currently possess $98 million in cap room and $73.7 million in effective cap room.

The fact that New York demanded a high price for Hall at the trade deadline suggests they want to keep him. Hall would also fit in well, presuming the Jets take a quarterback early in the draft.

Other possible destinations for Hall are Tennessee, Los Angeles Chargers – if Najee Harris exits – and the New England Patriots.
