Patrick Queen’s Potential Extension

Queen is fresh off the best season of his career. He started all 17 games and posted career numbers in tackles, sacks, passes defended, quarterback hits, and interceptions. His game has only been enhanced playing alongside fellow inside linebacker Roquan Smith.

The Ravens recently signed Smith to a record five-year deal worth a whopping $100,000,000. Entering the offseason, the Ravens will have an estimated $26,870,000 in cap space. While Queen is a player worth keeping, they’ve already set a steep standard. Can they afford to keep two inside linebackers with high price tags? Not to mention, their star quarterback, Lamar Jackson, is not under contract. In addition, multiple other players on the roster are about to enter free agency.
