You can bet teasers with NFL odds at the BetMGM online sportsbook.
What’s an NFL Teaser Bet?
An NFL teaser bet allows bettors to change the point spread or over/under total for at least two NFL games.
In doing so, the odds and potential payout change. If all the legs of a teaser hit, the bet wins.
Teasers are also available for college football odds, NBA odds, college basketball odds, and WNBA odds.
How Do NFL Teaser Bets Work?
BetMGM bettors are able to move the spread and/or total by a certain number of points, making it easier for each leg of the teaser to hit.
Here’s an example with three NFL games:
- Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 (-110) vs. Cincinnati Bengals
- Chicago Bears -2.5 (-110) vs. Green Bay Packers
- Kansas City Chiefs -5 (-110) at Denver Broncos
Instead of betting the spreads above for each of those games, you can tease the spreads by six points:
- Steelers +8.5 vs. Bengals
- Bears +3.5 vs. Packers
- Chiefs +1 at Broncos
The new odds might be +150, with a potential payout of $125 on a $50 bet (including stake) if all teams cover the spread.
If at least one team doesn’t cover the spread, the bet is graded as a loss.
If one pick of the teaser pushes — e.g., the Chiefs lose to the Broncos by exactly one point — the leg is removed, and the teaser’s odds (and potential payout) are recalculated with the remaining picks.
If one pick in a two-pick teaser is a push — and the remaining pick is a win — the teaser is void, and money is refunded.Â
