  • Myles Garrett (+155) is predicted to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
  • Oddsmakers price four players, including Garrett, at +650 or shorter to win.
  • Since 2011, a pass rusher has won defensive player of the year all but two years.

Based on NFL odds, Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett (+155) is the favorite to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

NFL Defensive Player of the Year Odds

Garrett jumped over Micah Parsons following Week 10. After Green Bay fell at home to Philadelphia, Parsons dropped from +170 to +300 to claim his first Defensive Player of the Year win.

Garrett, meanwhile, is trying to capture his second DPOY win in the last three seasons. Entering Week 11, the Browns defensive end is tied with Giants edge rusher Brian Burns with 11 sacks.

Oddsmakers view two other players as a threat to win DPOY.

First is Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who simultaneously finds himself in the Comeback Player of the Year race. For DPOY, Hutchinson is +500 to win entering Eagles vs Lions.

Next is Broncos linebacker Nik Bonitto (+650). Bonitto delivered a strong performance against the Raiders and rose from +1000 to +650 to win his first DPOY award.
