NFL fans may never fully know what transpired between Jerry Jones, Micah Parsons, and his agent. But all that’s water under the bridge now.

That’s because Micah Parsons was traded to Green Bay, where he immediately boosted the Packers’ odds into top-shelf Super Bowl contender territory.

Green Bay is typically a pretty conservative organization, so it says a lot that the front office was willing to jump in for Parsons with both feet.

Here’s what says even more: the contract extension Parsons agreed to as part of the trade, which makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the history of the NFL.

Micah Parsons Contract

As part of his trade from Dallas, Micah Parsons signed a four-year contract extension worth $186 million. He is now under contract through 2029.

Micah Parsons Signing Bonus

Micah Parsons received a signing bonus of $44 million with his new extension.

Micah Parsons Salary

Micah Parsons will make $45.17 million from his NFL contract in 2025.

The vast majority of that money is his signing bonus, with the remaining $1.17 million serving as the required veteran minimum NFL salary

This is a common salary structure for a player who just signed a big extension.

Micah Parsons Guaranteed Money

Micah Parsons’ new contract included $120 million of guaranteed money at the time it was signed.

That’s his signing bonus, his entire 2026 compensation package, and his $34.4 million option bonus from 2027.

An additional $16 million will become guaranteed by the start of the 2027 NFL season.
