Jordan Love Contract: Salary, Extension, Guaranteed Money

Jordan Love was selected with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. At the time, Aaron Rodgers’ future with the franchise was in question. As most of Green Bay can tell you, the Packers’ odds were in a state of flux. 

Rodgers, reportedly angry over the use of a first-round pick on another quarterback, elevated his play in the two years that followed. Ultimately, he left Wisconsin in search of greener pastures. 

Love stayed behind, inheriting the mantle of Packers quarterback and advancing Green Bay to the divisional round of the 2023 playoffs.

For that accomplishment, and the promise he has shown so far, he was rewarded with a big-time NFL contract. 

Jordan Love Contract

Jordan Love signed a four-year, $220 million contract extension with the Packers in July 2024. That deal kicks in this year and runs through 2028. 

Jordan Love Signing Bonus

Jordan Love received a $75 million signing bonus for his 2024 contract extension. 

Jordan Love Salary

Jordan Love can earn $13 million from his NFL contract in 2025. 

Love’s contract calls for an $11.9 million base salary this year. Additionally, Love’s contract also calls for a $35,294 bonus for every game in which he is an active roster member. He’s also due a $500,000 workout bonus. 

Jordan Love Guaranteed Money

Jordan Love’s contract extension included $100.8 million in guaranteed money at the time it was signed. That includes his signing bonus and his base salaries from 2025 and 2026.

In total, the contract could eventually guarantee up to $160.3 million.
