The Russell Wilson era didn’t last long in New York. With the Giants still winless entering Week 4, and the coaching staff in danger of being jettisoned, New York announced it would start first-round rookie Jaxson Dart in Week 4 against the Chargers.

Don’t expect much of a bump in the New York Giants’ odds market, since the Giants have problems beyond who’s taking the snaps under center. Still, it’s a welcome new wrinkle for the Giants, who remain offensively difficult to watch.

Jaxson Dart Contract

Jaxson Dart signed a four-year rookie contract with the Giants worth $16.9 million. He was selected 25th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Like all first-round picks, Dart’s contract is fully guaranteed.

Jaxson Dart Fifth-Year Option

Like all first-round picks, Dart’s rookie contract can be extended by the Giants via the NFL fifth-year option. That extension would cover the 2029 NFL season.

Jaxson Dart Signing Bonus

Jaxson Dart received a signing bonus of $8,987,584.

Jaxson Dart Salary

Jaxson Dart will make $9,831,933 from his NFL contract during the 2025 season.

That money breaks down into $840,000 in base salary, in addition to his signing bonus and a small workout bonus of $4,349.
