Has a Pair of Brothers Ever Played in the Super Bowl Before?

When Travis and Jason Kelce lined up to play in Super Bowl LVII, it was the first time in NFL history that a pair of brothers played against each other in the same Super Bowl.

Both Kelce brothers had played in and won a Super Bowl championship before, as have other sibling pairs like Eli & Peyton Manning.

However, the 2023 Super Bowl showdown was the first time that two brothers participated in the same Super Bowl on opposite sides.

Previously, twins Devin and Jason McCourty played together on the Patriots’ roster during Super Bowl LIII. That game ended with a 13-3 victory for New England over the Rams.
