Drafted No. 112 in 2014 by the Tennessee Titans, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones has found a new home on the Buffalo Bills’ defensive line.
DaQuan Jones Salary
Jones signed a two-year, $14,000,000 contract with the Bills in 2022.
It included a $5,500,000 signing bonus, $10,625,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $7,000,000.
DaQuan Jones Cap Hit
The 31-year-old carries an $8,583,333 cap hit in 2023.
DaQuan Jones Potential Extension
Jones had 38 tackles and two sacks in 16 games last season. His career high in tackles came in 2020, registering 49, while his best season in sacks was in 2017 with 3.5.
Jones will be a free agent in 2024 and will probably not see term on his next deal. Still, there’s no reason he couldn’t get a one or two-year offer as his career winds down. It’s difficult seeing a multi-year deal, so a one-year contract worth $7 million seems more likely.
