AJ Brown is an All-Pro receiver on an All-Star team. There are a lot of mouths to feed on the Eagles offense, and the offense is currently set up to primarily run through the ground game with Saquon Barkley.
Brown doesn’t love it when he’s not a focal point in the offense, and he’s not afraid to, err, express that frustration. The internet has increasingly taken note.
One thing is for sure, though. Whether he has one catch per game or 20, the Eagles are paying Brown like a top NFL receiver.Â
AJ Brown Contract
In April 2024, AJ Brown signed a three-year deal worth $96 million.
Brown’s previous contract runs through the end of the 2026 season, which means his most recent extension won’t even begin until 2027.Â
Unless something changes, Brown is under contract with the Eagles through 2029.Â
AJ Brown Signing Bonus
AJ Brown received a signing bonus of $19,875,000 after signing his 2024 extension.Â
AJ Brown Salary
AJ Brown will make $29.75 million from his NFL contract during the 2025 season.Â
The vast majority of that money – $28.58 million – is a fully guaranteed option bonus.Â
The rest is the $1.17 million in base salary that Brown is owed as part of the CBA’s rules governing the NFL veteran minimum salary.Â
AJ Brown Guaranteed Money
AJ Brown’s new contract extension guaranteed $51 million at signing. Since then, an additional $29 million from his 2026 compensation package has become guaranteed.
The only remaining money that can become contractually guaranteed is $4 million from his 2027 money.
