- I predict Colby Parkinson finishes over 36.5 receiving yards (-115) against Seattle.
- My prediction for Kyren Williams’ over/under rushing yards prop (54.5 yards).
- Seattle leads the NFL in rush defense DVOA, but has struggled against good rushing offenses.
The top spot in the NFC West is on the line in Seahawks vs Rams on TNF.Â
In addition to the pregame spread and total, bettors can now find NFL odds for player props at the BetMGM online sportsbook.Â
Below, I’ve outlined a pair of player prop predictions for the division matchup. Odds are reflective at time of writing and are subject to movement.Â
Seahawks vs Rams Prediction: TNF Player Props
Colby Parkinson Over 36.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
With Davante Adams out, it’s going to force some creativity out of Sean McVay’s offense. Luckily for the Rams, they’re facing a Seattle defense that has struggled against tight ends.Â
Seattle ranks 19th in pass defense DVOA against tight ends. To date, the team has allowed 69.2 yards per game to the position, ranking 31st in the NFL.Â
Parkinson notched only 14 yards in the last meeting between these teams. However, game script considerations must be taken into account.Â
Sam Darnold turned the ball over four times, all of which ended in Seattle territory. That limited the Rams offense in terms of player props as Matthew Stafford threw for only 130 yards.Â
Presumably, playing at home should help Darnold avoid those turnovers. The counterpoint is that the defense should allow more yardage outputs to Rams players.Â
Parkinson has notched 21 targets over his previous four games, with four or more in every game. Before that game, he cleared 3.5 targets only once.Â
Given those factors, I predict Parkinson delivers a strong output against Seattle.Â
Kyren Williams Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (-118)
Seattle enters this game leading the NFL in rush defense DVOA, but the unit has struggled against good rushing offenses.Â
Williams notched 91 yards against this defense when they last met. That output qualifies as one of six successes over his previous seven games against this benchmark.Â
That game qualifies as the fourth for Seattle against a team owning a positive rush offense DVOA rating.Â
In addition to Williams’ output, the defense surrendered 86 yards to Bijan Robinson. Last week, the defense allowed 87 rushing yards to Jonathan Taylor.Â
The Rams currently lead the NFL in rush offense DVOA (+20.7%). The gap between LA and Indianapolis is almost as big as the gap between Indy and Detroit (+5.9%).Â
Accordingly, I predict Williams will produce another strong output against a low number.Â
