As any alumnus of a Div. I school can tell you, there’s nothing quite like watching your team go on a run during March Madness. One upset can be memorable; a Final Four run is legendary.

Every once in a while, a school is lucky and good enough to send both its men’s basketball team and its women’s basketball team to the Final Four.

This is a pretty rare feat. Before NC State had done it in 2024, it had been seven years since it last happened.

Here are the teams – and seasons – that will probably be remembered by their alumni forever.
