Saint Mary’s has not reached a Final Four in program history.

Despite Saint Mary’s not appearing in a Final Four, the Gaels have made one Elite Eight (1959), as well as the Sweet Sixteen twice (1959 and 2010).

The California Golden Bears defeated Saint Mary’s, 66-46, in the 1959 Elite Eight. The Gaels fell to Baylor, 72-49, during the 2010 Sweet Sixteen.
