Kentucky missed the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Both Kentucky and Duke were absent from the tournament in the same year (2021) for the first time since 1976.

From 1992-2008, the Wildcats made 17 straight NCAA Tournaments, which is the eighth-longest all-time streak for consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.

Kentucky has taken home eight national championships, with three of them coming after the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985 and the second-most in NCAA history.
