Indiana last missed the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

The Hoosiers won the NCAA Tournament five times, with one of them coming after the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985:

  • 1940
  • 1953
  • 1976
  • 1981
  • 1987

Indiana also made the tournament 18 straight times from 1986-2003, which is the seventh-longest all-time streak for consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
