Bill Self has won 17 regular-season Big 12 championships and nine Big 12 Tournament championships as Kansas head coach.
Self arrived at Kansas in 2003 and won the conference regular-season title the next year (2004-05) and the conference tournament title a year later (2005-06). The regular-season championship was the first of 14 straight regular-season champions for the Jayhawks, the longest streak in college basketball history.
Now in his 20th season in Lawrence, Self is approaching 500 total wins and 300 conference wins. Among those wins are two national championships and nearly 50 NCAA Tournament wins.
