Syracuse basketball’s newly renamed venue – the WMA Wireless Dome – is by far the biggest home venue in college basketball with a max capacity of more than 35,000 people.
When Syracuse moved from the Manley Field House to the newly constructed Carrier Dome in 1980, they had the biggest home venue in the country. That hasn’t changed in more than four decades.
WMA Wireless Dome is so large that the four smallest basketball arenas in the ACC have a lower combined capacity than it.
