  • The Golden State Warriors went 46-36 in 2023-24.
  • The Warriors have a win total of 43.5 this year.

After missing the playoffs with a 46-36 record last year, the Golden Warriors built a more complete team to contend in the Western Conference.

NBA futures odds are available at the online sportsbook, including Golden State Warriors odds for NBA champion, division winner, and player awards.

Warriors Futures Odds

Win Total: 43.5
Pacific Division: +375
Western Conference: +2000
NBA Championship: +4000

It’s a new era as the Warriors enter the year as NBA odds long shots.

The Warriors are +4000 to win the championship, marking their longest preseason price since 2012-12. Golden State had been 28/1 or better for 11 straight years, including three minus-odds championship prices in the preseason.

In addition, the Warriors’ win total is five games below last year’s mark.

Warriors Offseason Moves

Despite losing Klay Thompson, it was a successful offseason for the Warriors.

The Splash Brothers have been broken up after Thompson left the Warriors to join the Dallas Mavericks on a three-year, $50 million contract.

But that might have worked out for the Warriors in the end. They were able to add plenty of depth and flexibility to their roster. They also remain the favorite for a potential Lauri Markkanen trade, as they attempt to build a contender around Stephen Curry.

The additions of De’Anthony Melton, Buddy Hield, and Kyle Anderson outweigh Thompson’s loss, especially considering how much he has fallen off on the defensive end.

Warriors 2024 Betting Prediction

Prediction: Golden State Warriors Over 43.5 Wins (-110)

As mentioned in my favorite NBA Win Total Predictions, I think the Warriors’ over is the best bet to make this preseason. That remains the case at its current -125 odds.

For one, the Warriors won 46 games last year to finish 10th in a loaded West. They ranked 11th in net rating even with Draymond Green serving a lengthy suspension.

I also expect giant leaps from Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga. In fact, Kuminga should be the NBA Most Improved Player of the Year odds favorite.

The Warriors haven’t finished below this win total in an 82-game season since 2011-12.

The market is underrating how good this team can be this year.
