Thunder vs. Pacers Prediction: NBA Finals Game 4 Preview

  • Get expert betting predictions and analysis for Thunder vs. Pacers.
  • The Thunder are 6.5-point favorites for Friday’s Game 4.

After taking a 2-1 series lead, the Indiana Pacers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 at 8:30 p.m. ET on Friday at the Paycom Center on ABC.

The Pacers pulled away in the fourth quarter of their 116-107 win over the Thunder in Wednesday’s Game 3. They scored 32 points in the fourth quarter, while an exhausted Oklahoma City squad was held to 18 points.

Indiana is now two wins away from its first NBA championship. Oklahoma City is a solid favorite to even the series back up.

Here’s a look at the latest NBA odds for Thunder vs. Pacers and my prediction ahead of Friday’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals:

Thunder vs. Pacers Game 4 Prediction for NBA Finals

Based on the updated NBA betting lines, I‘m backing the under on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s assist prop (6.5) as my Game 4 prediction for the Pacers vs. Thunder matchup in the NBA Finals.

SGA has only cleared this line once this series, dishing eight assists in a Game 2 victory. While the Thunder have a solid chance of bouncing back on Friday, I expect Gilgeous-Alexander to be more of a scorer in a must-win game.

In this series, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging five assists and 11 potential assists per contest. He’s averaging 39.3 passes made per game, trailing four different players in the NBA Finals.

In simple terms, the MVP has been more of a bucket getter than a facilitator against the Pacers. He’s averaged 32 points per contest in this series.

Indiana made some notable defensive adjustments in the fourth quarter of Game 3. I wouldn’t be surprised if that carries over into a defensive battle on Friday.

Game 4 prediction: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander under 6.5 assists (-105)
