  • The Thunder are 5.5-point favorites for Wednesday’s Game 3.

With the series tied up at 1-1, the Indiana Pacers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on ABC.

The Thunder responded with a 123-107 win in Game 2, covering the 11.5-point spread. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City with 34 points on 11-of-21 shooting with eight assists and five rebounds. Alex Caruso scored 20 points off the bench.

Oklahoma City is favored by multiple possessions as the road team in Game 3.

Here’s a look at the latest NBA odds for Thunder vs. Pacers and my prediction ahead of Wednesday’s Game 3 of the NBA Finals:

Thunder vs. Pacers Game 3 Prediction for NBA Finals

Based on the updated NBA betting lines, I‘m backing Oklahoma City’s spread (-5.5) as my Game 3 prediction for the Pacers vs. Thunder matchup in the NBA Finals.

I’d play this at 5.5 or better, but I think there is a solid chance that a -5 will be available before tipoff.

The Pacers won outright in Game 1, but they needed another improbable comeback in the fourth quarter to pull off the upset.

The Thunder led for all but the final second of the series opener, including a 15-point advantage. They led by as many as 23 and were in control for much of Game 2. Indiana has never led by more than three points in this series.

Translation: Oklahoma City has been the better team through two games by a solid margin.

There is value in backing the Thunder to win by two possessions on Wednesday, as they have covered the spread in five of their previous six victories. I’m comfortable backing Oklahoma City to take control of this series.

Game 3 prediction: Thunder -5.5 (-110)
