South Sudan is new to international competition, but it didn’t take long to make a big splash. It nearly beat the U.S. men’s team in an exhibition prior to the Olympics, then followed it up with an upset win over Puerto Rico in the opening days of the games.

South Sudan will play a rematch against the Americans in Olympic group play. The rematch stands to go down as one of the most heavily watched events of the summer.

Here’s a look at the South Sudanese men’s basketball players with an NBA background. Asterisks mark players who are not currently under contract by one of the 30 NBA teams.
