  • The Toronto Raptors went 25-57 last year.
  • Toronto’s win total is now 29.5 entering 2024-25.

Expectations remain low for the Toronto Raptors following last year’s 25-57 campaign.

NBA futures odds are available at the online sportsbook, including Toronto Raptors odds for NBA champion, division winner, and player awards.

Raptors Futures Odds

Win Total: 29.5
Atlantic Division: +25000
Eastern Conference: +5000
NBA Championship: +100000

The NBA odds market doesn’t expect a bounce-back campaign for the Raptors.

Toronto’s win total marks the team’s lowest preseason over/under since it had a win total of 16.5 in 2011-12.

The Raptors have finished under their win total in three of the last four seasons, including last year’s mark of 36.5.

Raptors Offseason Moves

The Raptors prioritized adding young talent in the offseason, including selecting Ja’Kobe Walter with the No. 19 pick in this year’s draft.

The Raptors’ best move this offseason was locking up their franchise player. They signed Scottie Barnes to a five-year, $224,237,860 contract.

Gary Trent Jr. was a critical loss for the Raptors, as the Milwaukee Bucks brought him in on a bargain deal. Trent played 71 games last year, averaging 13.7 points per game on 42.6% shooting.

Davion Mitchell could be a solid addition for the Raptors as a defense-first point guard.

Raptors 2024 Betting Prediction

Prediction: Raptors Under 29.5 Wins (-115)

The Raptors won 25 games last year, finishing well under their preseason win total of 36.5.

The rebuild is now officially on for Toronto, as the team traded away many of its top players last year.

After the trade deadline last season, the Raptors were last in the league with a -12.3 point differential. They were 29th in defensive rating and 27th in offensive rating.

Sure, Toronto was actively trying to tank down the stretch. But this team’s overall talent is low this year, even in a conference with several tanking teams.

I have a difficult time seeing the Raptors get to 30 wins in 2024-25.
