Based on the latest NBA betting lines, McClung has an implied probability of 67.74% to win this year’s dunk contest. The 6-foot-2 guard would join Nate Robinson (2006, 2009, 2010) as the only three-time winner in the event’s history by claiming the crown this season.
McClung has some promising young challengers in this year’s competition, even if they lack the name recognition compared to previous seasons.

But I’d prefer to back Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis. The 6-foot-10 rookie has delivered several highlight plays in his rookie season since being the No. 11 pick in the draft.
Two years ago, Buzelis competed in a dunk contest as a prospect in the McDonald’s All-American game. Buzelis lost in the finals after earning a perfect score with his first dunk.
I’ll take these odds on Buzelis being a real threat to McClung’s three-peat in this event.
