Luka Doncic Player Props & Odds for Lakers vs. Jazz on Feb. 12

On Monday, the Luka Dončić era got underway for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Utah Jazz at Crypto.com Arena.

Dončić scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds, and contributed four assists in a blowout win. He played 24 minutes and is expected to be dealing with a minutes restriction (likely around 30 in a competitive game) for now.

Dončić will face the same team for his final action before the All-Star break, which will take place at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Delta Center.

Of all the Dončić player props, I predict he will finish under 3.5 3-pointers (-135) in his first road game as a Laker.

Dončic’s points prop was the most popular bet on Monday, but he came nowhere close to clearing 26.5 points. That’s why the line has dropped to 25.5, and there has been movement on his rebounds and assists total as well.

But the 3-pointers line is similarly priced, despite Dončić going 1-for-7 from long range against Utah on Monday. It’s the area where he demonstrated the most rust in his first game since Christmas Day.

While I expect Dončić to score more in the rematch, his shot will take a bit to come back. In addition, Dončić might continue to play below 30 minutes between the restriction and blowout potential against an inferior team.

This is my favorite way to bet on Dončić’s second act as a Laker.
