Grizzlies vs. Thunder Prediction: Game 3 NBA Playoffs Preview

  • Get expert betting predictions and analysis for Grizzlies vs. Thunder.
  • The Thunder are 9.5-point favorites for Thursday’s Game 3.

It’s hard to imagine a change of scenery changing the trick, but the Oklahoma City Thunder will take their 2-0 series lead to the Memphis Grizzlies for Game 3 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at FedExForum on TNT.

After winning Game 1 by 51 points, Oklahoma City won Game 2 118-99. The Thunder have won all six matchups against the Grizzlies this season, with an average victory margin of over 20 points.

Here’s a look at the latest NBA odds for the Grizzlies vs. Thunder and my prediction ahead of Thursday’s Game 3:

Grizzlies vs. Thunder Odds: Game 3

  • Grizzlies spread: +9.5
  • Thunder spread: -9.5

Grizzlies vs. Thunder Prediction: Game 3 Best Bet

Based on the updated NBA betting lines, I‘m combining Jalen Williams’ assist prop (4.5) and Oklahoma City moneyline (-350) for a +110 same-game parlay as my best bet for Game 3 between the Thunder and Grizzlies.

There is no reason to watch this series, but I have cashed the over on Williams’ assist prop in back-to-back games. He has 11 dimes through two games, which has caused the over to shift from -115 to -140 by Game 3.

While it’s still worth playing as a straight bet, I prefer creating an SGP to obtain better odds.

Williams averaged 5.1 assists per game during the regular season. He has established himself as the No. 2 option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, which is crucial for the Thunder’s hopes of winning the championship.

This is a favorable matchup considering how fast the Grizzlies play, especially compared to the other Round 1 matchups. I project Williams to clear this assist prop on Thursday.

Game 3 prediction: Jalen Williams over 4.5 assists and Thunder ML (+110)
